Waiting for the Wind – from the series "The Last Harlequins"

Sculpture from the series "The Last Harlequins", made from papier-mâché, a handmade technique that gives it a unique appearance and exclusive details.
This Harley Quinn sits motionless, as if time has stopped around her. Her hands hover over her chest, not daring to touch the heart that beats in plain sight, vulnerable and silent. Her wings, spread, promise no flight—they are merely the echo of a halted movement. Her gaze, fixed on the void, carries the expectation of the wind, which may never come. And yet, she remains, guarding what remains of herself, as if this gesture sustains her.
Harley Quinn was created in contrast to the Harlequin we know. Where he was laughter, she is silence. Where he deceived, she lays bare. No game, no mask—just essence, fragile and unbreakable.
Unique piece, signed and with certificate of authenticity.
Material and technique: Papier-mâché, acrylic paints, varnishes and contours, bell, metal alloy earring.
