A multidisciplinary visual artist based in Porto, she has focused her work on ceramic sculpture and animated filmmaking since 2015, exploring the creation of unusual characters that live between light and shadow, reflecting her imagination. She signs her ceramics "Não Sou Rita" (I'm Not Rita), a play on her own name. Because it's not Rita, it's Joana.
He creates collections of unique pieces through hand-molding in stoneware. Ceramic chalk finishes, highlighted textures, and splashes of color are a constant feature of his pieces.
