In this circular canvas, Alex Davico transforms the pictorial gesture into personal archaeology. Each incorporated fragment — fabric, trace, memory — ceases to be remnant and becomes composition, ceases to be past and becomes presence.

The mixed technique does not illustrate a landscape: it builds one. The organic, the imperfect and the recycled meet on the circular surface of the canvas, where the absence of edges invites the eye to travel, without beginning or end, across a territory that is simultaneously abstract and profoundly physical.
