ILLUSTRATION "DOBBY"

Dobby was a house-elf belonging to the Malfoy family who helped Harry Potter. He was later freed by Harry (when Harry placed a sock in Tom Riddle's diary belonging to Lucius Malfoy) and went to work at Hogwarts. Unlike Winky and most house-elves, he wanted to be freed. While working for the Malfoys, he was forced to keep many dark secrets.

Dobby's tragic end came in the seventh book and seventh film, when he helped Harry Potter, Hermione Granger, Ron Weasley, and others escape from Malfoy Manor. As he was disappearing, Dobby was struck by a dagger thrown by Bellatrix. He slowly died... "Such a beautiful place, to be with friends."

This illustration is an unlimited edition. It was drawn in 2022.
